Nick Marter, 46, of Selma, AL. formerly of Petal, MS died Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Graveside services will be Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lorita Marter.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry Champion Marter of Selma, AL; two daughters, Jessica (Cory) Lockhart and Tabitha (Brian) Hasty; two sons, Jacob (Janet) Moseley and John (Scarlett) Moseley; six grandchildren, Lauren, Hayden, Cohen, Trotter, Ledger, and Reese; father; Tilton Marter; two brothers, Bryant (Tammy) Marter and David ( Christy) Marter ; one brother-in-law Derek(Celeste)Champion; Grandmother, Laris Kibodeaux; In-laws, John and Faye Champion; and his nieces and nephews. A great love for these, his extended family and friends filled his soft heart.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 4, 2014 from 10-11:15 a.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Petal.
