Louis Marion Smith, 83, long time resident of Selma passed August 3rd, at his home after a lengthy illness. Marion is preceded by his wife, Martha. He has two sons, Rollie Smith and Louis Smith, and two daughters, Sandy McKinney & Phelishia Smith. Marion was active in the community and supported various Selma events. Many close friends simply called him “Papa”. A memorial service for Marion will be held on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 11:00 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
