ORRVILLE — Alabama state troopers revised their report of an accident that occurred Friday in Orrville.

Jamira Barley, 19, who was listed as the driver in the original report, was actually the passenger in a 2003 Toyota Camry that struck a deer before leaving the roadway and striking several trees, according to the revised release. Barley, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead after being taken to Vaughan Regional Medical Center.

The driver of the Camry was 18-year-old Janaysha Jones, who was transported to Vaughan Regional Medical Center and treated for her injuries. Another injured passenger, an 11-month old, was transported to Children’s Hospital in Birmingham for treatment.
