Roxanna Simpson, 70, resident of Selma, passed away August 26, 2014 in Selma. Services will be held Saturday, September 6, 2014, 1:00 p.m. at Good Hope Church, Pleasant Hill, AL, officiated by Rev. John Ward. Burial will follow in church cemetery directed by Randall Miller Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by parents Joanna and Willie Blake, Sr.

Survivors include one son, Nathaniel Blake; four daughters, Dorothy Scott, Shirley Pritchett, Bernice Wilson, and Shelia Fletcher; four brothers, Willie Blake, Jr., Detroit, Michigan, Matthew Blake, Selma, Bobby Blake, Detroit, Michigan, and Eddie Blake, Selma, AL; three sisters, Georgia Oliver, Rosie Henderson, Christine Grifffin of Selma; twelve grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, three sons-in-laws, one brother-in-law, one sisters-in-laws, six nieces, fourteen nephews; special friends, Winston Fletcher (Anita). Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
