Mr. Jackie Lee Johnson a resident of Montgomery, AL passed away September 1, 2014. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 7, 2014 at 2:00 PM from Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Willie F. McBride, officiating. Interment will follow in Garrison Cemetery.

Mr. Johnson will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

He leaves to cherish his memories: the love of his life, a loving and devoted wife of forty years, Roberta Ward Johnson; one daughter, Kenya Marsae’ Johnson whom he adored; loving and caring father, Bennie C. Johnson, Sr.; brothers, Michael (Marion) Wilson, Bennie (Judy) Johnson, Rodney (Mahalia) Johnson, and a very devoted sister, Millie Eliza Johnson, who was the center of his heart that brought him so much joy; mother-in-law, Mary Ward Hollis; sisters-in-law, Mary Hodge, Millie (Frank) Williams; brothers-in-law, John Hollis and Charles (Opal) Ward; uncles, Thomas (Josephine) Garrison, Wilbur (Thelma) Garrison, Perry (Debra) Garrison, Johnny Lee (Hilda) Garrison; uncle-in-law, LeRoy Ward, Jr. (Helen); aunts, Catherine Garrison Jackson, Rosie Samuel; Great Aunts, Elouise Garrison Flowers, Louise Hawkins, California Belser; great uncle, Willie Garrison; nieces and nephews, Michael, Jr., Wesley, Renaldo, Kenard, Brian, Ariel, Stephanie, Stacey, Jamaris, Jayla, Kendall and his special little angel, Little Miss McKenzie Hollis; special friends, Larry Rouse, Jimmy Alexander, EuRico Chappell, Anthony Scott, Pat Garrison Johnson, Nancy Garrison Herron, Bobby Garrison and George Wilson; and a host of cousins and friends.
