Charles (Charlie) Moore, 68, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, passed away August 25, 2014 surrounded by his family at St. Joseph Mercy hospital. He was born January 6, 1946, in Safford, Alabama to the late William Elbert Moore and Ardell Williams Moore also raised by step-mother Mary Bates Moore.

He attended Keith High School in Dallas County. He later moved to Detroit, MI where he met and married Vera Moore (Walker) on October 8, 1966 who survives him.

He is also survived by his three daughters, Tonia L. Moore of Chesapeake, VA, Aijha L. Moore of Birmingham, Michigan, and Aisha T. Moore of Kearney Nebraska; three grandchildren, Ashley, Ashton, and Adrienne Moore; siblings, Loudell Bryant, Debra Moore and William Moore, as well as a host of nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.

He was proceeded in death by his brother Cleveland Moore. He was very dedicated to his faith and was a loving husband and devoted father who will be dearly missed.

A memorial service will be held Saturday September 6, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 217 Elizabeth Lake Road; Pontiac, Michigan.
