Dear editor,

Kenneth L. Scott, Sr. was a great man of God and he is in the presence of our savior, The Lord Jesus Christ with no more pain, sadness, disappointment or health issues.

Pastor Scott taught me the Roman Road to Heaven, from my King James Bible and how to share it with others. I had never shared the plan of salvation with anyone before his teaching and encouragement and how we must all fill the mission that Jesus saves. My earthly duty is to be a witness for Jesus Christ, so I can earn my crown, and build the Kingdom of Christ. We must understand that we are all born as sinners with the sin nature.

Romans 3:23 “For All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” All have sinned

Romans 3:10 “As it is written there is none righteous, no not one, no one is perfect.”

Romans 6:23 “As a sinner we all owe a penalty. For the wages of sin is death, Jesus Christ paid our sin debt when he died, buried and rose the third day. He bared all of our sins in his own body, he was punished in our place for the debt that we owe.”

Romans 5:6 “For when we were yet without strength, Christ died for the ungodly.”

Romans 5:8 “God commandeth his love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Romans 10:9 “That if thou shall confess with thy moth The Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God raise Him from the dead thou shalt be saved.”

Romans 10:13 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Brother Scott taught us in season and out of season, you must confess your sins, ask for forgiveness, believe in your heart that Christ died, paid your sin debt, trust and believe you will be save and turn away from sins. Read your King James Bible and attend a Bible-believing church.

Pastor Scott reminded us to practice the two feet rule, if you are within two feet of a person ask this question, if you die today are you 100 percent sure you are going to Heaven?

If you did not get the right answer, you must share the Romans Road to Heaven, give them a tract and go over the verses with the person. Pastor Scott was the best soul winning person I have ever met. It appears that it was so easy for him to share God’s words and he always had positive results. He revelation with ease and much knowledge a real leader for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our road map for life is our King James Bible. thank you Pastor Scott for your boldness faithfulness, dedication, teaching and love for Jesus Christ.

You will be missed.

God bless, I love you.
