Mr. Carl Hatcher, Jr., 73, resident of Selma, passed away July 21, 2014 at Vaughan Regional Hospital. Services will be held July 26, 2014, 11:00 a.m at New Salem Baptist church, Jones, AL officiated by Pastor Robert Childers, Jr. Burial will follow in Pineview Memorial Gardens directed by Randall Miller Funeral Home.

Survivors include spouse Etta P. Hatcher; sons, Calvin Edwards of Canton, Ohio; three daughters, Debbie Parker (Hale) of Selma, AL, Dianne Lanier, Montgomery, AL, and Vivian (Lorenzo) Richards, Pike Road, AL; son-in-law, Lee E. Hale; three sisters, Anna L. Graves, Rochelle H. Calhoun (Samuel), and Florence McCarey (Luke); nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews.
