Rev. Nathaniel Parker, 71, resident of Marion Jct., AL., passed away June 22, 2014 in Marion Jct., AL. Services will be held June  28, 2014, 11:30 a.m. at Christian Light Baptist church, Safford, AL officiated by Rev. John Ward. Burial will follow in Pleasant  Grove Cemetery directed by  Randall Miller Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Lee Edward Parker, Ernest Lee Parker, and Richard Parker; sisters, Azilee Robinson and Ethel Lou Parker.

Survivors include spouse, Ora Lee Parker; six sons, Norman Parker, Nathan Richard Parker, Tony (Melody) Sellers, Reginald Weatherly, Walter Weatherly, Patrick (Latoya) Weatherly; five daughters, Emma Jean Taylor, Beverly Ann (Derrick) Gayle, Salister Parker, Virginia Weatherly, Cassandra (Chris) Bell; sisters, Clementine (LC) Pettway, Willie Mae (Earnest Lee) Pettway, Mattie (Odell) Pettway; ; devoted nephew, Willie James Parker; twenty nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nieces, family, and friends.
