It is easier to point out the problems in our community than it is to fix them. It is important to not only keep people accountable when things are bad, but to also encourage those who are doing things right.

The organizers of the Dallas County Summer Feeding Program are serving those in need in our area, and they deserve some praise.

Hunger and food insecurity affect children all over this country, and children’s health issues cannot be left on the back burner.

The organizers of this program know this, and they are taking action by expanding the program to include more locations in Dallas County.

The volunteers who donate their time and effort to  this program also deserve our praise. Problems cannot be addressed without the right people stepping up and taking the time to make a change.
