Dorothy Pullen Green

Dorothy Pullen Green of Selma Alabama passed away on March 28, 2014 joining her beloved husband Earl “Buddy” Green in Heaven.

Survivors include her children; Marsha Green Alexander wife of Lee Alexander (deceased) of Birmingham AL, Robert Earl Green and wife Susan Green of Georgetown GA, Paula Green Wright and husband Doug Wright of Grand Bay Al, Pam Green Brooks and husband Russell Brooks of Milton Fl, Amy Green Henderson wife of Thomas Henderson (deceased) of Selma, AL. Her grandchildren Jennifer Alexander Hagler, Laura Alexander, Marc Green, Brooke Green Quinlivan, Mary Susan Green, Chris Brooks, Beau Brooks, and Neal Henderson Her sister Marion Pfeiffer Courtney and husband Roland Courtney , her brother Sonny Pfeiffer and wife Miriam Pfeiffer, and her six great grandchildren.

Dot, as she was known to her friends, was a charter member of Elkdale Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and was a charter member of the Elkdale Garden Club. She was an avid tennis player and was known as a fierce competitor, winning more than her share of tournaments. She was a sought after bridge partner and loved playing with her friends. She was a professional seamstress and her custom made draperies continue to grace many homes in the area.

Graveside services will be in New Live Oak Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Dave Thomas officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

The family would like to thank Olga, Margaret, Tamara, and Mark of Emerald Coast Hospice of Pace Fl, Samantha and Shawna of AseraCare Hospice of Selma and all the other hospice workers for their loving care of our mother.
