Ruth Thrash Courtney, age 91, passed away Friday, March 21, 2014.

She was preceded in death by her husband Roy B. Courtney Jr., one sister Inez and brother-in-law, Hank Rimmer.

Mrs. Courtney is survived by her sister, Ruby Lee Rimmer and special caregiver, Carol (Horace) Jones, Kristie Jones, Kelly Norton and Lily and many caring friends. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Monday, March 24, 2014 at 1: 00 p.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Otey Crisman officiating and Lawrence Brown Service Funeral Home directing.
