Dallas County’s Lady Hornets led 28-20 after the third quarter, but did not make a basket in the final quarter and fell to John Essex 34-29.

John Essex’s Krisshanda Fluker scored 12 of her team’s 14 points in the fourth quarter to lead her team to a comeback victory.

“We just made way too many mental errors and with this team, we have a lot of inexperienced players,” Dallas County head coach Charles Thompson said.
