Sandra Lee Sims Hearn, 71, of Prattville, AL, passed away on August 31, 2013, after a two year battle with cancer.

Sandra was born in 1941 in Nashville, TN, to Robert Lee Gaither and Ann Inez Hayes, both deceased.

Sandra is survived by brothers George Hayes and Wayne Gaither. Daughters Alison Williams Wendell Tapley Harris (Danny), Wynona Kynard Ross (Ricky), Kelly Holley Flournoy (Dale). Sons Michael Sims (Sharon) and Kirk Sims (Doshia). Grandchildren Cecil Williams, Scott Williams, Zakary Wendell, T’Shan Clark, Devin Kynard, Lindsay Holley, Elizabeth Holley, Celeste Borowski, Logan Sims, Ethan Sims, Marissa Sims, Kaleb Sims and Addison Sims.

Sandra is preceded in death by her sister Francis Locke, brother Bill Locke and daughter Jennifer T’Shan Ross (Jerry).

A private funeral service will be held at a later date for family members. Visitation will be held at 2:00pm, September 21, 2013 at Valley Grande Baptist Church, Valley Grande, AL. Mrs. Hearn requested her remains be cremated.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Community Hospice of St. Augustine, FL. The family of Sandra Lee Sims Hearn wishes to thank family, friends and Community Hospice staff for their support, kind words and prayers during this time of reflection and mourning.
