Jean Kendrick of Selma died Saturday morning after long illnesses. She was a retired civil servant from Craig AFB and Maxwell AFB.

Jean was preceded in death by parents Mr. and Mrs., William Henry Kendrick, Sr. (Eleanor Dunkin) of Plantersville and Selma and her brother William H. (Bill Kendrick, Jr. of Orrville.

She is survived by a brother, Allen D. Kendrick, Sr. and wife Linda of Hoover. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Virginia Kendrick of Orrville.

Other survivors are nephews, Lacy Kendrick (Frances) of Selma and Allen Kendrick, Jr. (Leslie) of Mobile; niece, Susan K. Richardson (Chad) of Atlanta, Georgia. Her great nephews are William, Walter, and Thomas Kendrick of Selma and Tyler Kendrick of Mobile. She is also survived by friends the Richard P. Morthland family and Eliza Moss. A private funeral will be held.
