Jack Edward Allday, Jr. age 84 of Sweet Water, AL, died April 23, 2013 at his son’s home in Marion Junction, AL. He was born July 30, 1928 in rural Coffeeville, AL. Mr. Allday was a retired engineer assistant with the Alabama Highway Department and was a veteran of the US Army.

He is survived by his wife, Katie Flowers Allday of Sweet Water, AL; son, Dewayne Allday of Marion Junction, AL; daughter, Sheri Allday of Birmingham, AL; brother, Marvin Allday of Waynesboro, MS; sister, Lois Martin of Klamath Falls, OR; 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 10:00 am until the 2:00 pm service time with Rev. Percy Clarke officiating. Burial will be at Aimwell Baptist Church Cemetery in Sweet Water, AL.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Aimwell Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or to your favorite charity.
