Patricia Anne Keener Sherrer, 66, wife of William (Bill) Alton Sherrer, Jr, died Monday, April 15, 2014 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held in Dothan, Alabama at 10:00 a.m. Saturday April 20, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church with Reverend Ed Wright officiating. A second service will be held in Milton, Alabama at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Milton Baptist Church with Reverend Van Gauthe officiating. Burial will follow in Milton Baptist Church Cemetery with Southern Heritage Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 pm. Friday, April 19, 2013 at the funeral home.

Box 12505, Birmingham, Alabama 35202, or Calvary Baptist Church, 901 Montezuma Avenue, Dothan, Alabama 36303 or to the Montana Street Magnet School, 1001 Montana Street, Dothan, Alabama 36303, Learn-A-Thon Project.

Born in Dallas County, Alabama, Patricia was a daughter of the late Garlin Preston and Ellouise Friday Keener. She worked with the Dothan City School Board as an assistant teacher at Montana Magnet school until her retirement. She is a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Chris (Julieanne) Sherrer, Cumming, Georgia, and Will Sherrer, Dothan, Alabama.; a daughter, Amy Sherrer Teston, Dothan, Alabama; a sister, Katie (Bob) Montgomery, Ocala, Florida; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews also survive.
