Steven Michael Buxton, age 52, of Selma passed away March 24, 2013.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and son. He will be missed forever. He was a dedicated man who worked hard for his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Duelon and Caroline Buxton; and sister: Jenny Carol Buxton.

Mr. Buxton is survived by his Wife: Nancy Ross Buxton; son: Chris (Whitney) Ross; daughter: April Carter (Shane Stanfield); brothers: David (Annette) Buxton, Daniell LaRusso; sisters: Alice (John) Fangen, Susan (Robert) Strickland, Mary (Ricky) Lenior; grandchildren: C.J. Ross, Addeyson Ross, Skyler Ross, Kayleigh Hunter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at11:00 a.m.at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Rod Rochester officiating. Burial will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be David Buxton, Daniell LaRusso, Shane Stanfield, Josh Buxton, Timothy Witcher, and Mike Ross.
