Mr. Robert Howard McCurdy “Bob” age 77, a resident of Millbrook, AL passed away on Monday, March 18, 2013 at his residence. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. from Brookside Memorial Gardens with Rev. Wayne Smith officiating. Mr. McCurdy was retired from the United Sates Army and was a Allied Shop Foreman with the USP&FO Military Department. He was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara M. McCurdy, daughters Sandra McCurdy Smith of Montgomery, AL, Lori McCurdy Roberts of Selma, AL, sons Gary McCurdy of Florida, Rusty McCurdy of Jones, AL, sister ALice Frazier of Scottsboro, AL, brother George McCurdy (Elizabeth) of Montgomery, AL, grandchildren Nikki Lace (Billy) of Plantersville, AL, Taylor Roberts of Selma, AL, Shaun McCurdy of Prattville, AL, Brandon Dykes of Selma, AL, great grandchildren Alyssa Dykes, Derek Dykes and William Lace. The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to Millbrook Baptist Church 3431 Browns Road, Millbrook, AL 36054. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
