Birdie Laverne Cleckler, 80, of Clanton died Friday, March 8, 2013.

She was born on Tuesday, March 22, 1932 in Alabama, Daughter of the late Carey Easterling and the late Cora Cleckley Easterling.

She was a Homemaker.

(Myra) Cleckler of Clanton, AL; Grandsons, Chris Smitherman of Clanton, AL, Brian (Wendy) Smitherman of Clanton, AL; Great-Granddaughter, Emily Smitherman of Clanton, AL, Sydney Smitherman of Clanton, AL, Taylor Smitherman of Clanton, AL; Great-Grandson, Brady Smitherman of Clanton, AL; Step Great-Granddaughter, Charity Headley of Clanton, AL; Sister, Mavis Reynolds of Clanton, AL.

She was preceded in death by Husband, Johnnie W. Cleckler.

Friends will be received from 5-8, Saturday, March 9, 2013 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Sunday, March 10, 2013, at 2:00 P.M. at Sunshine Assembly of God with Rev. Dale Collins, Rev. W. Thurmon Cleckler & Rev. Arthur Davis officiating.

Interment will follow in Sunshine Assembly of God Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
