Curtis Henson Johnson, age 78, of Selma, AL, passed away February 25, 2013.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Ethel Johnson and brothers, Jake Johnson and Henry Johnson.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret Johnson; children, Leigh (Alan) Bevard, Kent (Janet) Johnson, Brad (Julie) Johnson, Skeeter (Ann) Yelverton, Frankie (Cheryl) Yelverton, Harold (Cindy) Yelverton and Patsy (Brian) Maner; sister, Mary Champion, sister-in-law, Beth Johnson; nineteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Doty and Rev. Art Hartley officiating. Interment will be in New Live Oak Cemetery with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12-1:30 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Gerald Davis, Travis DeFoor, Chuck Waldrip, Dean Levins, Daryl Glaze, Steve Johnson, Chad Johnson and Bobby Smith.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to Shady Grove Baptist Church, 234 County Road 83, Selma, AL, 36703.
