Mary Lois Wallace (89) a long time resident of Selma passed away on February 1, 2013 after a short illness. She had been living the past several years with her sons in Cocoa, Fl. and San Diego, CA. Mary Lois was much loved by her family and will be remembered for her generous nature. She loved her garden and took pride in all her beautiful flowers. She was a true artist who created beautiful quilts completely by hand. These quilts have given great joy to numerous friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband L.V. Wallace and son Cecil (Ed) Wallace.

She is survived by three sons; Charles Wallace (Donna), Curtis Wallace (Susie), and Richard Wallace (LiFang), four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

A viewing will be held at Lawrence-Brown Funeral home on Friday, February 8, 2013, from 6:00 to 8;00 P.M. Services will be graveside at New Live Oak Cemetery on Saturday February 9, 2013 at 11:00 A.M.
