Selma city attorney Jimmy Nunn told members of the administrative committee the contract that will allow the city to use revenue from the increased occupancy fee of $2 — a fee  to help the YMCA of Selma-Dallas County — is in the making.

Gamble, Gamble & Calame law offices are currently drafting the contract. Nunn said the contract should be finished by Monday and the council can vote on it Tuesday, Feb. 12.

Council president Corey Bowie and Nunn both discussed the time frame in which the contract would last.
