Knowing Barnette was a privilege. Her devotion to her husband, her daughter, her father, the law firm and the people of this community was admirable. The legacy she has left for little girls who want to accomplish great things, all the while doing it with style and high heeled shoes is endless. She was beautiful, strong, resilient and so is her beautiful daughter Maya. May the Creator of us all bless and keep you. We are praying for you. Rajeeyah Holmes and family

I want to share my heartfelt condolences at the death of your
love one. May her soul rest in peace. I remember her as being a
wonderful, caring person. I had not seen her in a while until 2006 and we
reconnected and shared many conversations almost daily, I received
a message from her about a month ago.I am saddened to think that
I won’t have an opportunity to see or hear from Mrs Barnette Lewis Hayes
