The Meadowview Christian Trojans held off a late comeback to defeat the Jackson Academy Eagles 45-38 at home on Thursday.

Damion Dillon, assistant boys basketball coach of Meadowview (8-7), said the Trojans got things together down the stretch after a timeout.

“Toward the end, we got a little sloppy and we had to call timeout to get our bearings back,” Dillon said. “We held it together and knocked down free throws to win the game.”
