Mr. A.C. Atkins, 57, resident of Orrville, passed away December 31, 2012 in Orrville. Services will be held Saturday, January 12, 2013, 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist church, Orrville, AL, officiated by Rev. Curtis Jackson. Burial will follow in church cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

Survivors include wife, Cecelia Atkins; three sons, James (Sequita) Johnson, A.C. Johnson, and Derrell Bryant; four daughters, Janice (Roy) Peterson, Vanessa Johnson, Therolenn (Jermain) Marshall, and Kimberly Watkins; four brothers, James Atkins, Eddie Atkins, Richard (Jackie) Atkins,and Steven Atkins; sisters, Vanessa Bennett and Fannie Atkins; eighteen grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, a devoted nephew, Castellan Hayes.
