Dewey F. Mitchell, Jr., age 83, Selma, AL, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013. Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, 2:00 p.m., from Gray Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Howard Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Perpetual Care Cemetery with Gray Funeral Home directing.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ruby Cole Mitchell of Selma, AL; one son, Donald C. Mitchell of Selma, AL; one grandchild, Elizabeth Brooke Mitchell Raney (Pat) of Mobile, AL; three sisters, Doris Kay, Mary Frances Rogers and Ruth Meadows. The family will receive friends Friday, Jan. 11, 2013 from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m.
