Still time to give back in Selma

Although the holiday season has ended, the season for giving has not. Selma has definitely hosted its fair share of holiday programs that aim to give back to the community and we encourage that holiday spirit and giving to continue.
United Way and the Selma Area Food Bank are just two examples of worthy foundations that give throughout the year and are always in need of donations. The Salvation Army Thrift Store is also still in its beginning months of it’s official reopening and is accepting gently used apparel and appliances.
We encourage all Selma residents to do their part and give back to the community. There is always room for more giving and more sharing. With a little caring and teamwork, we can make sure the gift of holiday giving doesn’t end Jan. 1, but lives on through the New Year.
