Graveside services for Margie Lee Branton Jackson, age 92 of Anniston, will be Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Pineview Memory Gardens in Valley Grande, AL.

Mrs. Jackson passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at National Health Care in Anniston. She is preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie P. Jackson; and sisters, Beulah Carlisle and Ruth Hinson.

An Alabama native, Mrs. Jackson was a long-time member of Elkdale Baptist Church and was a member of the Eastern Star. Her special joy in life was singing about her Christ and cooking for her family.

Survivors include a daughter, Joan Sanders Sewastynowicz and her husband, James, of Anniston; sons, Johnie E. Jackson and his wife, Jacqueline, of Colorado Springs, CO, Russell B. Jackson and his partner, Brian Stano, of Anniston; grandchildren, Tanya Snively and her husband, Mike, John Sanders, Lee Sanders, Burke Jackson and his wife, Candice, Brent Doriety and his wife, Candice, and Joy Doriety; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Branton Whitfield and her husband, LaRue; brothers, William Branton and his wife, Mary, and Carl V. Branton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
