Sally Lowrey Whetstone, age 92, died Saturday November 24, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, David D. Whetstone, Sr.; sons, Henry M. Whetstone and David D. Whetstone, Jr. and daughter, Connie E. Whetstone. Survivors include her daughters, Judy W. Gill of North Dakota and Ruth Ann Weedon (Cliff) of Autaugaville; 11 grandchildren and many great and great-great- grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday November 29, 2012 at New Live Oak Cemetery with Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Pallbearers will be Floyd Plummer, Sr., Floyd Plummer, Jr., Johnny Schmitt, James Rowell, Bernie Dickinson, Noopie Cosby, Lee Whetstone, Angus Whetstone, & Henry Whetstone, III.

Honorary pall bearers will be Steve Rowell, Rush Dickinson, Ben Cosby, Michael Whetstone, & William Paul Temple, Jr.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the American Heart Association, National Center, 7272 Greenville Avenue Dallas, TX 75231.
