Mr. Jessie E. Ponds, 57, resident of Selma, passed away November 18, 2012 at Jackson Hospital, Montgomery, AL. Services are scheduled for Saturday, November 24, 2012, 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Olive #1, Rev. AL Brown is pastor, officiated by Rev. Timmie Miller of Matteson, IL. Burial will follow in church cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

Survivors include special companion Mable Thomas of Selma; daughter, Tina Packer of Foley, Alabama; sister, Lucille Ponds of Selma, AL; two grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be nephews.
