Mr. and Mrs. H. Douglas Vance of Marion, Alabama and Mr. Charles F. Dunaway of Jones, Alabama are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Amanda Lynn Dunaway to Richard Shane Vinson,  son of Ms. Cindi Danley of Selma, Alabama and Mr. and Mrs. Richard A. Vinson of Valley Grande, Alabama.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mrs. Joyce Delaney of Selma, Alabama, the late Mr. Kenneth Delaney of Millbrook, Alabama and the late Mr. Larry Conner of Buena Vista, Virginia and Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Dunaway of Selma, Alabama.

Miss Dunaway is a 2009 graduate of John T. Morgan Academy and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Troy University.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. Tobina Riddle and the late Mr. Tex Riddle of Foley, Alabama and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Arnold Vinson of Jones, Alabama.

Mr. Vinson is a 2008 graduate of Dallas County High School.  He received his Associate Degree in Nursing from Wallace Community College Selma and his Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Jacksonville State University.   He is currently employed with Vaughan Regional Medical Center.

The wedding will take place on December 14, 2012 during a private ceremony in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
