Howard Thicklin, 69, resident of Minter, AL, passed away October 3, 2012 at home.

Services are scheduled for October 13, 2012 at First Missionary Baptist Church officiated by Minister Eugene Oliver. Burial will follow in church cemetery directed by Lewis Brothers Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by parents Albert and Alice Thicklin.

Survivors include spouse Armetta Peoples; two sons, Bernard (Georgette) Alexander and Alex (Dana) Peoples; Goddaughter Veronica Charley; four brothers, Joseph (Jeanette) Thicklin, Arthur (Eula) Thicklin, Holma (Pearlie) Thicklin, Jimmy (Mae) Thicklin; five sisters, Annie Mae (George) Thomas, Mattie (Henry) Evans, Lucille Stover, Flora Thicklin, Pearlie (Ocie ) Taylor. Other relatives include aunt Ollie Thicklin; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Pallbearers will be the family.
