Edna V. McBryde, age 89, of Selma, AL, passed away October 8, 2012.

She was preceded in death by husband, Wilford E. McBryde; parents, Oscar Whitfield and Edith Warren Vasser; brothers, Eugene Vasser and Lamar Vasser, and sisters, Sue Taylor, Edith Caver and Eliza Sherrer.

She is survived by her son, Edward Brooks McBryde; daughters, Joyce (Harold) Plummer and Edna Katherine (Dennis) Wiggins and one grandson, David Wiggins.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Cecil Williamson officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be prior to the service at 12:30 p.m.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to be made to Crescent Hill Presbyterian Church, 100 Crescent Hill Drive, Selma, AL, 36701 or to a charity of choice.
