James Gordon Kendrick, age 72, of Selma, AL, passed away October 7, 2012.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Maudie Kendrick; son, Michael Lindzy and granddaughter, Lauren Michael Kendrick.

He is survived by his companion, Betty Kendrick; children, Paul (Denise) Kendrick, Bobby (Wendy) Kendrick and Darrell Kendrick; sister, Linda (Robert) Tindoll; grandchildren, Jennifer Kendrick, Eric Kendrick, Theresa Bobbie, Anita Rose, Cheyenne Mae-Lea, Tara Cheyenne, Courtney (Jason) Ellison, Kelly Kendrick and Elizabeth Lindzey and great-grandchildren, Tristan Garza and Clay Ellison.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Allen Yarbrough officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 9, 2012 from 6-8:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Billy Wilson, Donnie Harris. Bobby Smith, Charles Miller, Brad Capps and C. B. Fancher.
