James Lewis, 71, resident of Selma, passed away September 20,2012 in Montgomery, AL. Graveside Services are scheduled for September 29, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery officiated by Pastor L.W. Fitts.

He is preceded in death by parents, Elder Jack Lewis; brother, Jack Lewis, Jr, Joe Lewis, Kenny Lewis (Infant); sisters, Rosa Mae Holman. Ethel Lee Martin, Sarah B. Jackson, Doris Lewis (Infant).

Survivors include two sisters, Ola (Jordan) Reuben, Alberta (Willie) Howard; two brothers, Jerry Lewis and Robert Lewis; three sisters-in-laws, Joyce Lewis, Annie Lewis, and Linda Lewis; brother-in-law, Roosevelt Martin; four aunts, Sylvia (James) Hasberry, Florence Davis, Odessa J. Fitts, and Bernice Lewis; one uncle, Willie (Julia) Fitts; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and special friends.
