Fire singes community and school pridePublished 8:40pm Saturday, July 28, 2012
When an extension cord or an outlet sparked last weekend in Orrville, the ensuing damage did far more than damage Keith High School’s bandroom and burn musical instruments. It scorched the Orrville community’s and Keith High Schoo’s sense of pride.
For far too long, the Keith High marching band has been silent, missing parades and football games. The community needs them back — all of Dallas County needs them back.
It is up to everyone now to make sure what was taken away last weekend is ultimately fully restored.
