“Our executive director, Nancy Travis, was involved in March of Dimes and she talked to Bob and said SABRA would like to get on the list of charities,” Woodson said. “Bob and Renee (Wilkerson) have been fantastic to work with and since Renee is the incoming Rotary Club president she’s worked hard to get Rotary involved. As an organization we’ve tried to be more active in helping make this happen by getting the door prizes. It helps take some of the pressure off Bob and Renee.”

Wilkerson, who is Kelley’s daughter, has been working with Woodson on a new menu style for this year’s event, which will speed food service and improve the dining experience since the event is already highly booked. Main courses will be ribeye steak, chicken béarnaise, and grilled salmon with orange ginger sauce. All come with a side of vegetable, and appetizer and dessert choices.

“We designed the limited menu to make things move a little more smoothly since we’ve got so many reservations,” said Kelley, who added they already have 125 reservations booked.
