Mr. and Mrs. Effell and Brenda Williams of Selma, Alabama announce the engagement of their daughter, Alesha Danielle Williams to Wade Channing Jackson.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Ms. Jaqueline Mann and Mr. Bayne Jackson of Selma, Alabama.

Miss Williams is the granddaughter of the late Perry and Bonnie Pearl Williams of Geiger, Alabama, the late Fannie M. Smith of Lisman, Alabama, and the late Leroy Smith of Mobile, Alabama.

She is a graduate of Dallas County High School. She attended Wallace Community College-Selma, and the University of Alabama where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance.

She is presently a Licensed Financial Service Specialist at Regions Bank.

Her fiancé is the grandson of the late Leon and Necie Mann of Selma, Alabama, Mr. Preston Jackson of Montgomery, Alabama, and the late Betty M. Jackson of Selma, Alabama.

He is a graduate of Selma High School. He attended Miles College and Concordia College. He is presently Senior Pastor of The Greater Kingdom Citadel in Selma, Alabama.

The wedding will take place Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 4:30 p.m. at Tabernacle of Praise Church in Selma, Alabama.
