Nova Lee Miley, age 81, passed away on Tuesday November 11, 2008 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held on Friday November 14, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Rod Rochester officiating and burial following at Casey Church of Christ cemetery.
Ms. Miley is survived by her three daughters, Lorraine Miley of Selma, Nellie Earby of Selma, and Ruth Suther of Verbena, her sisters, Cleo Newman of Selma, Mamie Allen of South Carolina, 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and Ms. Norma Connell of Selma.
Pallbearers will be Mack Wilkerson, Sr., William Newman, Phillip Higginbotham, Butch Godwin, Billy Day, and Roger Nichols. Visitation will be held on Thursday November 13, 2008 from 6-8 at the funeral home.
