Ann Goings Moore

Ann Goings Moore, 41, of Selma, AL died Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at her home.

Services are scheduled for 12:00 noon, Saturday, April 5 with the Rev. Kairy A.

Crum officiating. Burial will follow in White Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Brothers Funeral Home Inc.

Survivors include husband, Johnny Moore; three daughters, Ashely Goings, Angelica Moore, and Amber Moore; parents, Bessie Mae Goings of Selma and the late Ovella Dock Goings, Sr.; three brothers, Robert (Ovella) Crum, John

(Aldoisy) Goings, and Michael (Ghytana) Goings all of Selma, AL; five sisters, Betty (Ernest) Davis of Pensacola, FL, Willie Lee Hardy of Radcliff, KY, Judy Crum, Sarah Witherspoon, and Vivian Goings all of Selma; two grandchildren, Jaden and Jaylen Moore; a special aunt, Willie Mae Mack of Selma; a special uncle, Henry Smiley; a special friend, Henry Jackson; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Dorothy (Dot) Callines

Dorothy (Dot) Callines, 65, of Selma, AL died Friday, March 28, 2008 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center.

Services are scheduled for noon, Saturday April 5, with Rev.

Wayne Callines officiating. Burial will follow in Walter Jones cemetery under the direction of Miller Funeral Services, Inc.

Mrs. Callines was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Willie and Rannie Seabon, and husband Franklin D. Callines.

Survivors include four sons, John (Rosetta) Callines Sr., Joseph Callines, Mark (Cheryl) Callines, and Kelvin (Maurice) Callines; three daughters, Amanda Callines, Tyra (Wayne) Callines and Monica (John) Callines; two brothers, Willie (Carol) Seabon and Waymon (Edith) Seabon; one sister, Minnie (Johnny Sr.) Howard; fourteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two sons-in-law, three daughters-in-law, one brother-in-law, two sisters-in-law, and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and nephews.

Jimmy (J.M.) Belk

Jimmy (J.M.) Belk, 82, of Selma, AL died Saturday, March 29, 2008 at his home.

Services are scheduled for 12:00, Saturday, April 5 with the Rev. Frank Hutchins officiating.

Burial will follow in Grove Hill A.M.E. under the direction of Lewis Brothers. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katie Williams and oldest son, Charles Williams.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory eight daughters: Gwendolyn (Darius) Bettis, Catherine (Bruce) Dozier, Bessie (Matthew) Mims all of Selma, Alabama; Paula Harrison, Lula (Jessie) King of Hyattsville, Maryland; Anne (Sonny) Mason of Washington, D.C.; Christine (Calvin) Stanberry of Atlanta, GA;

Sylvery Richardson of Boston, MA; one son, Richard (Karen) Bell of Selma, AL; a devoted niece, Carolyn (Ben) Jones; twenty-eight (28) grandchildren; twenty-one (21) great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He will be greatly missed.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons.

Mose C. Moore

Mose C. Moore, 67, of Brent, AL died Sun, March 20, 2008 in D.C.H Hospital, Tuscaloosa, AL.

Services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Sat. April 5 at the Mt. Ebell Baptist Church, Brent,AL with the Rev. Dumas Will officiating. Burial will follow in Mt.

Grove Cemetery in Westblockton, AL under the direction of Lee & Rollins Funeral Home.

Mr. Johnny L. Parker

Mr. Johnny L. Parker, 51, of Sardis, AL died Saturday, March 29, 2008, at the Vaughan Regional Hospital.

Services are scheduled for 1:00pm, Sat., April 5 with the Rev.

Willie Brown officiating. Burial will follow at East Salem Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction Miller Funeral Service, Inc.

Survivors include wife, Katie Parker; seven sons, John Wilson, Christopher Dukes, Gerald Moorer, Quentin Moorer, Cornelius Moorer, Telly Moorer, and John Savage; two daughters, Latasha Blevins and Veronica Maull; father Isaac Parker; mother-in-law, Annie Moorer; four brothers, Joe Jackson, Larry Parker, Bobby Parker, and George Norman, Jr.; one sister, Patricia Jackson; twenty-two grandchildren, one great grandchild, five sons-in-law, five daughters-in-law, five brothers-in-law, five sisters-in-law, a host of nieces , nephews and friends.

Kelvin B. Burns

Kelvin B. Burns, 41, of Selma died Friday, March 28, 2008, at Vaughan Regional Medical Center.

Services are scheduled for 1 p.m., Saturday, April 5 at Miller Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Cole-man officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of Miller Funeral Service.

Survivors include wife Priscilla Burns; three sons, Ricky, Darryl and Jaquan; three daughters, Kimberly, Lakendra and Jayla; three

brothers, David Burns Jr., Billy Burns (Verna), and Bryant Burns (Mary); three sisters, Ola Morrow (Tim), Rosetta Burns, and Aretha Burns. Pallbearers will be Henry Ross, Cedric Travis, Terrance Jones, Jurden Aaron, William Shelton, and Cody Parnell.
